Internet
Internet is a huge collection of computers all over the world that are connected to one another. it is a global network of computer. These computers are connected through different telecommunication links like:
- Phone lines
- Fiber optics links
- Satellites and wireless connections
Internet is used to find information stored on the computers called hosts or servers.These computers use a common protocol called TCP/IP for communcation.TCP/IP stands for Transmissing control protocol / internet protocol.Each compouter connected to internet can act as host. A host comouter provides information to the people. Today more then 3.2 billion people around the world connected to internet
