How do you use PowerSchool Portal?
Grades, test scores and attendance reports provide parents with real-time information that supports their efforts to encourage, challenge and motivate their children. Parents sometimes receive information that is not meant for the student, as PowerSchool provides a secure, immediate opportunity for teachers to share critical information with parents. Students use PowerSchool to check test scores, assignments and lunch account balances just as their parents do. A personal homework and event calendar is also available to students.
Teachers use PowerSchool not only to communicate with students and parents, but also to track students' progress against standards, automatically calculate grades, submit lunch counts to the office and print reports. PowerSchool provides administrators with real-time access to data regarding all facets of school administration, from demographics to grades and faculty oversight.
The PowerSchool Portal is accessible only by authorized users who have been provided access through schools or school districts employing the PowerSchool student information system. Access protocols and instructions for using the PowerSchool Portal vary by school.
